Rebels This Week: October 10-15
WEEKEND RECAP
The Rebels split a pair of home games this past weekend at the Peavey Mart Centrium. After falling 6-2 Friday to the Prince Albert Raiders, with Carson Latimer’s two power play goals being the highlight for Red Deer, the Rebels returned to form Saturday with a sound 3-1 win over the visiting Lethbridge Hurricanes. Ollie Josephson had a goal and an assist while Talon Brigley and Frantisek Formanek also scored for Red Deer. Kyle Kelsey earned the win in net. The Rebels now sit at 2-3-0-0 on the young season.
UPCOMING GAMES
It’s four-straight games away from home for the Rebels starting Friday night in Regina versus the Pats. The Rebels will then play a pair of games at Edmonton on Sunday and next Tuesday (Oct. 17). After visiting Lethbridge next Friday, the Rebels return to home ice on Saturday, October 21 versus the Saskatoon Blades.
