Red Deer man sentenced in Rocky armed robbery
Its one year in jail, 12 months of probation, and a five-year firearms prohibition for a Red Deer man charged in a Rocky Mountain House armed robbery last year.
Anthony James Deck, 29, was sentenced in Rocky Mountain House Court of Justice on Sept. 13, 2023, after being convicted on one count of pointing a firearm.
Deck had previously been scheduled for trial on Sept. 14, 2023.
It was on Sept. 20, 2022, at 8:30 p.m., when Rocky Mountain House RCMP received a report of an armed robbery with a firearm at a retail business on the 5200 block of 48 Street in Rocky Mountain House.
