Air Canada cutting flights from Calgary

Air Canada says it is to cease several flights from Calgary International Airport.

Starting at the end of October, non-stop service to Ottawa, Halifax, Los Angeles, Honolulu, Cancun and Frankfurt will cease.

The airline says customers with flights already booked to affected routes are eligible for a full refund.

Air Canada says it’s all part of its plan to improve the overall stability of the carrier.

It also says an industry-wide shortage of pilots has resulted in resource pressures.
