The latest campaign, which featured a record high $1.126 million dream home for its 25th anniversary, launched in April at 121 Emerald Drive.

Lottery proceeds since its initial launch total over $11 million, which go towards the purchase of critical medical equipment at the Red Deer Regional Hospital.

Last year, items purchased included

• Equipment for sinus surgery
• Phototherapy systems
• Patient Stretchers (beds)
• Medical Scopes
• Fluid Warmers
• Electrosurgical Workstations
• Surgical Retractor

Manon Theriault, Red Deer Regional Health Foundation CEO, says proceeds from the 2023 Hospital Lottery and Mega Bucks 50 will provide for critically needed equipment for several units at Red Deer Hospital.

Foundation officials note that funding a variety of equipment means that even more of central Albertans will benefit, ensuring Red Deer Hospital continues to meet the demands of the 500,000 people in the AHS Central Zone.

In addition to the 3,049 square foot dream home, there were 123 other prizes to be won, valued at more than $1.2 million.
