Fatal crash in County of Barrhead claims life of Red Deer woman

A Red Deer woman has died following a two vehicle collision in the County of Barrhead this week.

On June 5, 2023, at 1:55 p.m., Barrhead RCMP attended the collision on Highway 763 near the community of Tiger Lily.

Mounties say an elderly man driving one vehicle was taken to hospital by ground ambulance.

The driver of the second vehicle, however, driven by a 47-year-old woman from Red Deer, was found deceased at the scene.
