SK RCMP seeking info about woman with Red Deer ties whose remains were found in 2021
RCMP in Saskatchewan say they’re seeking information about the death of a woman with ties to Red Deer, and whose remains were found near Morris, SK in February 2021.
Morris is about 108 km southeast of Saskatoon, and 200 km northwest of Regina.
The Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crime Unit began working with a forensic genealogy firm in March 2022, and results determined the woman, whose name is Kassandra Jorquera, had close relatives in the Red Deer area.
Jorquera was last seen in Red Deer in January 2021, but had not been reported missing to police. She would’ve been 27 at the time of her death, and family has been notified, police say.
