Innisfail RCMP initiate rural ATV patrol program

With the welcoming of warmer weather, Innisfail RCMP have started up backcountry and rural all-terrain vehicle (ATV) patrols.

RCMP say members were out on patrol over the weekend to ensure community members were following all safe riding precautions including:

• Helmets
• Insurance & registration
• Liquor violations and impaired driving
• Ensuring proper land us

Innisfail RCMP says they will regularly partner with other agencies for enhanced ATV patrols including Red Deer County Patrol, Alberta Fish and Wildlife, and Alberta Forestry parks and Tourism.

Starting this summer, the RCMP will be partnering with Town of Innisfail Community Peace Officers for patrols in the parks and trails within the town.
