Red Deer Hospice seeking board members

Red Deer Hospice is currently recruiting individuals to join their Board of Directors.

Red Deer Hospice provides professional nursing care for individuals with life-limiting illnesses and are close to the end of life’s journey. Located in the quiet area of Anders on the Lake, the Hospice has 16 comfortably appointed individual resident rooms. Companionship and bereavement support are also offered to residents and their loved ones.

“Our dedicated and valued Board Members help provide direction to our organization,” stated Jerri Taylor, Red Deer Hospice’s Executive Director. “The work they do as Hospice ambassadors in the community is also essential.”

Hospice’s Board of Directors is a governance and policy setting board who has an administrative team that handles day to day operations. Board Members can expect a three-year term with the opportunity for a second three-year term, approximately six to nine board meetings and six to nine committee meetings per year.
