Three Hills RCMP seeking public assistance in shooting investigation

Police are asking for help from members of the public with any information regarding a reported shooting in Delburne early Sunday morning.

On Dec. 18, 2022, at approximately 3:20 a.m. and 3:35 a.m., Three Hills RCMP received multiple 911 reports of gunshots at a residence on 22 Avenue in Delburne.

Three Hills RCMP say they attended the residence and observed multiple gunshots through the front door of one of the units. Multiple vehicles were alleged to have been used in relation to the shooting, and were later observed driving within town.

Mounties say no details of the vehicles are available at this time. Police say residents were home at the time of the occurrence, but fortunately, no one was injured. RCMP believe this was an isolated incident and there is no risk to the public.

Mounties say the investigation is still ongoing.
