Innisfail RCMP recover two stolen vehicles, three suspects arrested
Three individuals from Regina, SK are facing multiple charges after Innisfail RCMP recovered a pair of stolen vehicles last week.
On Oct. 19, 2022, at approximately 6:00 p.m., Innisfail RCMP responded to numerous reports of two vehicles driving erratically in Red Deer County. Innisfail RCMP located the suspect vehicles, a white Toyota SUV and a black Ford sedan on Hwy 2A approaching Innisfail.
Mounties say the suspect vehicles, which appeared to be traveling in tandem, fled at a high rate of speed and passing motorists on the shoulder while trying to evade the police. One of the vehicles became inoperable due to a blown tire and was located abandoned on Hwy 2 just south of Innisfail.
Police say their investigation revealed that the Toyota SUV had been stolen out of Cochrane, AB earlier that morning. It was believed the occupants of the Toyota SUV had boarded the black Ford sedan and continued south.
