Look ‘n Book unavailable while online payment services are updated

Look ‘n Book, The City of Red Deer’s registration software for Recreation & Culture programs and Parks amenities, will be unavailable beginning Monday, October 24 at 4:00 p.m..

City officials say the outage is expected to last until Wednesday, October 26 at 12:00 p.m..

During this outage, the City says it will conduct an update to new services provided by Moneris, the organization’s online payment processing provider, that affects the appearance of the City’s online payment pages through Look ‘n Book.

Residents who use the online payments page to register for Recreation & Culture programs and Parks amenities can expect a slight change beginning Wednesday morning. Not only will the page look different, it will no longer redirect users to an outside site to enter their payment details.
