RCMP say missing Penhold man found, no firearms involved

In an update issued Saturday afternoon, RCMP say this about a man missing from Penhold:

“Innisfail RCMP have located Calvin Foster safe and he was unarmed. Innisfail RCMP’s investigation determined that Calvin was not in possession of a shotgun and no firearms had been removed from his residence. There are no further concerns for Calvin’s wellbeing or the safety of the public in this case.”

Editor’s note: At 11:14 a.m. on Saturday, Innisfail RCMP reported that a 33-year-old man from Penhold was missing, in distress, and in possession of a shotgun.
