Canada Summer Games day 7: Alberta adds four bronze to big medal haul

It was another amazing day on Friday for Team Alberta at the 2022 Canada Summer Games in Niagara.

On day seven (the event runs Aug. 6-21), Alberta added four bronze medals to its third place haul of 61 medals.

The medals came in female box lacrosse, as Alberta toppled Nova Scotia 4-2, in mountain cycling, in male soccer where Alberta beat New Brunswick 6-1, and in swimming. No central Alberta athletes were involved.

The province’s female lacrosse team went 4-2 at the games en route to third place.
