Team Canada earns shutout win to open Hlinka Gretzky Cup tournament
Team Canada is off to a strong start at the Hlinka Gretzky Cup in Red Deer, AB.
Canada’s National Men’s Summer Under-18 Team used five special teams markers en route to a 14-0 win over Switzerland on Sunday night at the Peavey Mart Centrium.
Red Deer Rebel Kalan Lind picked up his first goal of the tournament at 1:42 of the second period to give Canada a 9-0 lead at that point.
