Red Deer RCMP arrest repeat offender after multiple property crime investigations
Red Deer RCMP say they have laid over 15 charges on a local repeat offender after multiple property crime investigations.
Mounties arrested and charged 35-year-old Zacharias Paradoski in relation to a string of break and enter and stolen vehicle incidents.
Police say Paradoski was first connected to a string of break and enters the morning of March 21, 2022, between 2:30 and 5:30 a.m., where six properties were broken into in southeast Red Deer. Surveillance footage was confirmed to have seen the suspect using a Ford F350 pickup truck which had been reported as stolen.
On March 22, Red Deer RCMP say they responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot of a multi-family residential building in Cosgrove Crescent. Once on scene, officers say they identified the same Ford F350 from the night before. In the truck, officers reported finding stolen property from the events the day prior. Officers arrested Paradoski on scene for breaking and entering, as well as possession of stolen property. Paradoski was released pending completion of the investigation, and warrants were later issued for his arrest.
