Innisfail RCMP lay charges for theft of electricity

An Innisfail man is facing charges after being accused of stealing electricity.

On May 17, 2022, Innisfail RCMP received a complaint from Fortis of theft of electricity at a residence in the town of Innisfail. On May 18, 2022, RCMP executed a search warrant at the suspect property.

Three people were arrested during the execution of the search warrant. RCMP seized evidence used in the theft of electricity.

A 33-year-old man has been charged with possession of stolen property under $5000 and theft of electricity.
