Clearview announces Wendy Coppock as new Director of Inclusive Learning
Clearview School Division has named Wendy Coppock the new Director of Inclusive Learning.
Officials say she will take the position at the retirement of Grant Gosse at the end of the 2021-22 school year.
“Wendy’s experience in many roles in education, including as Principal of Gus Wetter School, and as Clearview’s Early Learning Coordinator have prepared her well for this leadership responsibility,” says Brenda MacDonald, Clearview Superintendent. “Clearview continues to benefit from Wendy’s work in literacy. Also, Wendy understands and embraces the work of inclusion in our division and schools. We are so excited to have her take on this important leadership role in Clearview.”
“Wendy’s work in Clearview, especially around literacy and early learning, has been foundational,” says Daram Van Oers, Clearview Deputy Superintendent. “We are so pleased to have Wendy bring her strengths to the role of Director of Inclusive Learning. We are pleased that with her skills, Wendy also brings an awareness and appreciation for the great work that has been completed by Grant Gosse, the current Director. Wendy will not only bring excellence to the role, but stability and continuity, which is important in a time of change.”
