Cyclists from all over Alberta are gearing up to participate in a 12-hour stationary ride for Red Deer Regional Health Foundation’s new event to support healthcare – Cycle for Central Alberta.
On Friday, March 25, 2022, participants will ride from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm in person at Holiday Inn & Suites Red Deer South, outdoors or virtually.
BIG105 and REWIND Radio will be live on location until 6:00 pm, accepting donations and encouraging riders throughout the day.
“Each rider has their own customized link for donations,” said Manon Therriault, Chief Executive Officer of the Red Deer Regional Health Foundation, who will also be riding on Friday. “Twelve hours is a long time to ride so we are hoping the community recognizes those efforts and helps us achieve our goal of raising $50,000 for healthcare in our region.”
