Olds College will soon be celebrating the resiliency of Alberta’s agriculture industry.

The post-secondary institution is set to host its second, “A Celebration of Alberta Ag, a free two-hour live streamed event next month.

“From field to fork, and all the producers and businesses in between that support our food supply chain, agriculture plays a vital role in the economic success of Alberta,” said Stuart Cullum, President of Olds College.

On Apr. 8 from 7 – 9 p.m. right from the Olds College campus, the evening’s program will feature performances by Alberta-bred, Nashville-based country music star Aaron Goodvin. It will also showcase upcoming projects and innovations taking place at the College set to impact the future of agriculture.

“We are looking forward to celebrating our vibrant ag industry in Alberta, sharing information about the Olds College applied research on the Smart Farm and our hands-on, high-tech academic programs, and celebrating the many partners who contribute to the success of Olds College,” said Cullum.
