Red Deer Polytechnic presents first annual Research Showcase

The innovation and creativity of Red Deer Polytechnic’s students, faculty and staff will be highlighted at the institution’s first annual Research Showcase on Thursday, March 3 from 5 to 9 pm.

Members of the public and the media are welcome to register for this online event, which will mirror a conference-style showcase highlighting recently completed and in-progress research and scholarly activity conducted at Red Deer Polytechnic.

The Research Showcase will include opening remarks and a choice of eight, 30-minute sessions that will feature lightning talks (seven-minute presentations, followed by three minutes for questions) and roundtable discussions (15-minute, discussion-based presentations) from the researchers involved in each project. The evening will wrap up with a panel discussion and door prizes.
