Red Deer with 90 active cases of COVID-19
Alberta Health is reporting 90 active cases of COVID-19 in Red Deer, down three from Monday.
That brings the total number of coronavirus cases identified in Red Deer since the start of the pandemic to 9,494 – up four from Monday. Recoveries meanwhile, increased by seven over the past day to 9,320.
Red Deer’s active case rate per 100k is currently 84.6, which compares to a rate of 89.5 in Calgary, 62.6 in Edmonton, and 87.4 in Lethbridge.
The number of COVID-19 related deaths in Red Deer remains unchanged at 84, with the last one reported Dec. 7.
