Annual Christmas lights display kicks off at Lions Centennial Park in Ponoka
The annual Christmas lights display at Lions Centennial Park in Ponoka is bigger and brighter than ever this year.
Town officials say that’s thanks to the Ponoka Lions Club which donated $5000 to help expand the light display across the full length of the park. Citizens are invited to stroll through Centennial Park and view the tens of thousands of festive lights that are now on display.
The Lions Centennial Park light display features:
- Expanded tree lighting displays;
- A colourfully lit Christmas tree at Fort Ostell Museum; and
- Other winter wonderland delights.
