Jett Grande wins first pro MMA bout

Red Deer’s preeminent MMA fighter has his first pro victory.

Jett Grande (0-0-1), fighting his second pro bout, recently earned the win over Cornelius Krahn at Unified 41.

Taking place at River Cree Resort & Casino in Enoch, Alberta, Grande was fighting his first super-lightweight (165 lbs) match outside of XFC where he signed this summer.

Grande was happy to wipe the sour taste out of his mouth after his first fight in August was ruled a majority draw.

“It was great to get to have a fight in my home province. I felt great going into this fight and was focused on getting the stoppage,” he says.

“I had a huge amount of people that came out to support me and cheer me on and it meant the world to me. Unified MMA is a first-class show and it was an honour to fight on this card.”

Grande now awaits his next pro bout with a record of 1-0-1.
