Powerhouse Campus will be the name of the new replacement middle school being built in Drayton Valley.
The campus will be shared by two middle schools, Drayton Christian School and H.W. Pickup Middle School.
The name Powerhouse Campus was chosen as it was the original name of Drayton Valley, and it came up most frequently in public consultations.
The Wild Rose School Division voted in approval of the new name at their June 15 meeting.
