Red Deer Regional Health Foundation (RDRHF) is pleased to announce that Canadian Pacific (CP) has contributed an additional $20,000 to enhance healthcare in Central Alberta, matching a very generous gift of $20,000 donated by Ron and Donna Durham of Red Deer.

“We’ve made Red Deer our home for 35 years and we are big supporters of our hospital – the Red Deer Regional Hospital is a vital part of our community,” said Ron and Donna Durham. “We are very thankful that CP, a major national organization, has chosen to support our Regional hospital through the Foundation.”

With CP matching the Durham Family donation, in addition to their previous commitment from the matching campaign in March and April, CP has contributed a total of $40,000 to healthcare in Central Alberta. The Foundation also wishes to thank all donors who contributed to the matching gift campaign.

“Investing in the communities we operate in and through is very important to CP. We are honoured that our original $20,000 matching campaign inspired the Durham family to make such a large donation. CP is proud to match this additional donation to once again support Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre in their pursuit to provide the best care for Red Deer and area residents, which includes CP employees.” said Scott Young, CP Trainmaster Red Deer.
