Four wanted men arrested in connection to December robbery
Four men Alberta RCMP said were wanted last month have now been arrested.
According to Rocky Mountain House RCMP, the four were wanted in connection to a December robbery where police said shots were fired at a victim.
Charges and arrest warrants against them were issued February 11 when police said they were believed to be in the Rocky Mountain House area. RCMP did not say in the latest update where the men were arrested.
In a previous news release, RCMP said an employee was working on an oilfield lease site in Clearwater County at about 3:30 p.m. on Dec. 12, 2020 when he saw two males driving away in his truck. Police say he tried to stop them when he was struck by a different truck occupied by two other males. The victim ran for safety when one of the men fired multiple shots at him but missed. The four men then fled in the two trucks, according to police, and the victim sought help.
