CP matching donations to Red Deer Regional Health Foundation

To inspire the community to give to our hospital’s greatest needs through the Red Deer Regional Health Foundation, Canadian Pacific (CP) will generously see donations matched up to $20,000 in support of enhanced healthcare for Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre.

As the demand for healthcare continues to rise with Central Alberta’s growing population, donors fill the gap needed to purchase vital equipment. Equipment like an Electrocardiogram (ECG) machine, which is used to diagnose cardiac concerns such as a blockage or abnormal heart rhythm, are placed on a greatest needs list based on current demands of the hospital and technology advancements.

“Investing in the communities we operate in and through is very important to CP. We’re proud that this donation will support Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre in their pursuit to provide the best care for Red Deer and area residents, which include many CP employees.” said Scott Young, CP Trainmaster Red Deer.

Donations to RDRHF provides funding for programs, services, and medical equipment for Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre and other health care centres throughout AHS Central Zone. Contributions help fund and purchase vital equipment and give our healthcare professionals the tools they need to provide the best possible care to patients in our hospital.
