Artwalk Developing Visual Artist Award nominations open

The Red Deer Arts Council is pleased to announce the fourth launch of an award for developing visual artists to support their further growth and development.

The Artwalk Developing Visual Artist Award is a legacy of Red Deer Artwalk Society; the society’s remaining funds were donated to the Red Deer Arts Council in January 2018 with the aim of establishing an annual award available to developing visual artists living and working in Central Alberta.

Criteria for artists and Applications are now available and can be downloaded from our website.

The annual award is $1,500. Annual deadline for application is March 1.
