Two injured in shooting at O’Chiese First Nation

RCMP in Rocky Mountain House are investigating a shooting incident on the O’Chiese First Nation Tuesday morning.

It happened around 8:40 a.m. when Mounties responded to a complaint of shots being fired at a residence.

Police confirm two people were injured in the incident with one being taken by ground ambulance to hospital in Rocky Mountain House.

Officials with STARS confirm transporting one adult male with injuries consistent with a firearm, to Royal Alexandra Hospital in Edmonton.

The patient was in critical condition at the time of transport.
