Alberta reports a record 1,336 new cases of COVID-19
For a third straight day, Alberta is reporting a record one-day high of new COVID-19 cases.
On Saturday, Alberta Health shared that they’ve confirmed 1,336 new cases since Friday, smashing yesterday’s record of 1,155. Thursday’s high 1,105 was also an historic high at the time.
The 1,336 new cases represent a 6.9 per cent positivity rate with 19,239 tests complete in the last day.
Saturday’s figures go along with nine more deaths from the virus taking the provincial total to 471.
