Edmonton man stabbed in altercation at Lacombe hotel

Police in Lacombe have laid charges after a stabbing that took place in the city last weekend.

Officers responded during the early morning hours of October 24 to an incident at a local hotel where two males, who police say were known to each other, had been involved in an altercation.

Police say a 35-year-old man from Edmonton was stabbed and taken to Red Deer Regional Hospital with serious, non-life threatening injuries and is currently in stable condition.

Police say a 22-year-old male from Lacombe has been charged with aggravated assault and mischief. The man’s name has not been released.
