Oct 23, 2020 | 4:13 PM

Red Deer RCMP is asking for the public’s help in identifying a woman captured on video from inside the Potter’s Hands Billiards Building before it burned down this summer.

As Mounties continue to investigate the fire at 5129 – 50 Ave on Aug. 24, police are seeking to identify the woman as a potential witness.

RCMP say she is not under suspicion, but that she may have information that can help the investigation.

Investigators are said to have spoken with a number of residents of the building and other witnesses, but have not been able to identify the woman seen in the video.

It was just before 3:00 p.m. on Aug. 24 when the 22 unit apartment building that housed residents in low income situations went up in flames. Fire crews from both Red Deer and Sylvan Lake responded.

Red Deer RCMP ask that anyone who may have information about this individual or the fire, to please call the Red Deer RCMP non-emergency line at 403-343-5575.

If you wish to remain anonymous, you can contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS), online at www.P3Tips.com or by using the “P3 Tips” app available through the Apple App or Google Play Store.
