Oct 8, 2020 | 6:46 PM

Hunting Hills High School in Red Deer has its first confirmed case of COVID-19.

Principal Darwin Roscoe notified parents of the case affecting an individual from the school in a letter sent late Thursday afternoon.

Roscoe said they are working closely with Alberta Health Services to ensure necessary measures are in place to protect all students.

“The CDC team from Alberta Health Services has advised us that this individual was not infectious while at school and consequently students and staff in the classes of the infected person will not be required to isolate,” he explained.
