Maskwacis RCMP seeking stabbing suspect

The Maskwacis RCMP Community Response Unit is looking for help from the public to identify a suspect in an aggravated assault.
On Mar. 23, RCMP say a member on patrol located a young male who had been stabbed in the townsite area of Samson First Nation. The 17-year-old victim was taken to hospital with serious injuries and is now in stable condition.
Police say the victim was able to describe the suspect to an RCMP sketch artist. The suspect is described as an Indigenous male with facial hair, approximately 5’11”, around 40-years-old with a weathered look and acne scarring on his cheeks.
Maskwacis RCMP are asking anyone who can identify the male or with information regarding this incident to please contact Maskwacis RCMP at 780-585-3767 or their local police.
