One case of COVID-19 now confirmed in Red Deer County
There are now 226 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Alberta, including 31 new cases since Friday.
Of the new cases, three are in Central Zone; one in Red Deer County, one in Wetaskiwin, and one in Vermilion River County. The previously announced three cases are in Red Deer (city), Camrose, Vegreville, and Vermilion River County.
The interactive map on Alberta.ca does not specify where in Red Deer County the one new case is.
Of the total cases, 16 are suspected to be from community transmission. Eleven people remain hospitalized, including six whom are in the ICU, which is one more than yesterday.
