Outdoor rinks set to close for the season

This Sunday, all outdoor rinks will close for the season due to spring-like temperatures.

On Sunday, March 8 all outdoor rinks, including Bower Ponds, will close and signage will be placed on-site advising the public to stay off the ice.

The recent snowfall and warmer temperatures have created deteriorating ice conditions at the ice oval at Setters Place; as a result, it closed Monday, March 2. As the ice melts, Setters Place will transition back to its summer form, ready for football, soccer and rugby.
