Wild Rose School Division working to house Condor, Leslieville students while schools are worked on
Wild Rose School Division (WRSD) continues to work on what to do with students attending its corridor schools while buildings are constructed and modernized over the next couple years.
A new high school is on the way for Leslieville but won’t be ready for at least two years. Same goes for the modernization of the K-6 school in Condor.
In the meantime, affected students from Leslieville and Condor will attend class at David Thompson High School starting this fall.
David Thompson was scheduled to close and be torn down due in part to issues regarding its lagoon. But Alberta Education has since provided funding to keep the school running until the projects in Condor and Leslieville are complete.
