Parents warned of alleged fight club in Grande Prairie

GRANDE PRAIRIE- RCMP have been in contact with local school districts, informing them of the possible involvement of students in a reported “fight club.”

EverythingGP obtained a copy of a letter sent to parents, stating they are investigating reports of fights taking place in the evening hours in parking lots across the city.

The fights between high school student have sent some combatants to hospital with serious injuries.

Corp. Candace Hrdlicka says students between the ages of 16 and 18 have been involved.

Mounties believe that the fights are being organized by adults between the ages of 18 and 24.
