Record $70M Lotto Max jackpot up for grabs Friday

For someone in Canada, Friday could bring with it a historic way to start the year.

The estimated jackpot for tomorrow’s Lotto Max draw is a record $70 million – the biggest lottery jackpot ever offered in Canada.

The jackpot comes after a change to the game in May that allowed Lotto Max prizes to grow past the former $60 million maximum.

Jackpots of $65 million were offered in June, October, and December.

Also on Friday, there will be an estimated 10 Maxmillions draws for prizes of $1 million each.
