Chinook’s Edge School Division, teachers reach tentative agreement

Officials with Chinook’s Edge School Division say they and the Alberta Teachers’ Association have struck a tentative deal on a new collective agreement.

The Memorandum of Agreement agreed to on Tuesday is subject to ratification from both sides. Terms of the agreement were not released.

“Representatives on both bargaining committees indicated the quality of the work in this Memorandum of Agreement shows the solid relationship between teachers of Chinook’s Edge and the Board of Trustees,” the division says in a release.

The Memorandum of Agreement will be presented to the Chinook’s Edge teachers on December 9 and the Chinook’s Edge Board of Trustees on December 11.
