WATCH: Election candidates take the stage for forum at RDC

Equalization payments, pipelines, and who can be trusted most to lead Canada were among the topics discussed during a federal election candidates forum Thursday evening at the RDC Arts Centre.

Candidates running in the Oct. 21 election in the Red Deer-Mountain View and Red Deer-Lacombe ridings took part in the forum. Red Deer-Lacombe Conservative candidate Blaine Calkins did not attend due to illness. Gary Tremblay, Liberal candidate for Red Deer-Mountain View, and Sarah Palmer, Green Party candidate for Red Deer-Lacombe, were also absent.

Thursday’s candidates forum was co-presented by the Red Deer and District Chamber of Commerce and the Students’ Association of Red Deer College (SARDC).
