Weekend death deemed non-suspicious

The death of a man whose body was found in downtown Red Deer over the weekend has been deemed non-suspicious.

It was at 1:20 p.m. Saturday when RCMP responded to a report of a deceased person near the CPR Bridge.

A 40-year-old male was found deceased at the scene.

The death was not considered suspicious and RCMP are not seeking any suspects in relation to this investigation.

Names will not be released and no further updates are anticipated.
