Free Family Picnic this Friday

RED DEER- Blue Grass Nursery, Sod & Garden Centre in partnership with the City of Red Deer invites Central Alberta residents to celebrate the sixth anniversary of the Blue Grass Sod Farms Central Spray & Play with a free family picnic.

The picnic will take place at the spray park (located in Downtown Red Deer north of the Golden Circle) on Friday, August 16 from 12-3 p.m.

This year community partners have been invited including the Central Alberta Child Advocacy Centre, Family Services of Central Alberta and the Mustard Seed who will all have engaging activities for the picnic goer’s.

The grills will be fired up at noon with a hot dog lunch followed by entertainment (family challenges with a sack race, three legged race and a good old fashioned wheel barrow race for prizes), face painting, draw prizes for children/adults and summer fun in the spray park.
