Woman arrested inside vehicle not her own

A woman RCMP describe as not being local to Red Deer is facing multiple charges after being arrested Tuesday night inside a vehicle she didn’t own.

Mounties were called to the parking lot outside PetSmart at 5001 19 Street shortly before 6:00 p.m. and found the suspect of their suspicious person call inside the vehicle.

However, police say no other information on the suspect can be released at this time as charges have yet to be sworn.

RCMP remind residents to always lock your vehicle and keep any valuables out of sight.

The investigation continues.
