11U AA Braves remain undefeated this season

The Dick’s Auto 11U AA Braves are rolling along, pushing their overall record on the season to 10-0.

This includes a 9-0 record in the province’s top league for 11U.

Monday night, the Braves defeated Sylvan Lake in provincial league play by a score of 6-4.

Matthew Morrow pitched three shutout innings, striking out six. Keaton Rusnak struck out three in relief and Bubba Reed picked up the save.

Matthew Morrow hit a run scoring triple and Tyson DeZutter reached base multiple times.

Next action for the team is Saturday, June 15 at 10 a.m. against Sherwood Park, then Sunday, June 16 at 9 a.m. vs. Parkland Twins, and 6 p.m. against SW Edmonton Sox. All games are at West Park Middle School.

The team then gears up for the prestigious Sussex Invitational tournament in Kamloops, B.C.
