Innisfail RCMP make stolen vehicle arrests

INNISFAIL- On April 24, at approximately 6 p.m., Innisfail RCMP observed a suspicious truck driving in the town.

Police confirmed that the truck was stolen from Rimbey on April 23.

Officers continued their coordinated response to the incident and observed the same truck now parked and the occupants nearby.

A man and a woman were arrested on scene without incident.

Spencer Esi Sandra Morrell, 30, of Red Deer has been charged with possession of stolen property under $5000 and possession of a controlled substance.

Morrell appears in Red Deer Provincial Court on May 24.

Stanley John Westrop, 38, of Red Deer has been charged with possession of stolen property under $5000 and two counts of breach of recognizance.

He also appears in Red Deer court on May 24.
