Team Central wins 2018 Alberta Cup

Team Central is the 2018 Alberta Cup champions.

The club won 2-0 over the weekend in Spruce Grove, taking down a team of Edmonton players.

Team Central lost to that same opponent 8-3 in round-robin play.

Goaltender Drew Sim of Tees made 25 saves for a second straight shutout. Sim topped all goalies in the tournament with a 0.67 GAA.
