New superintendent chosen for STAR Catholic Schools

A new superintendent of the St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic School Division has been named, pending ministerial approval. 

Charlie Bouchard is set to take over the role, following decades of work in education including a 10 year stint as both a principal and vice principal at both elementary and junior high school levels. 

Bouchard has also served as Assistant Superintendent, in HR and Technology since 2013.

“I am excited by the opportunity to work closely with all our partners in Catholic education, across our Division, and strengthen those relationships, that connection to Christ in our schools, and build on our proven track record of success,” said Bouchard.
