Notre Dame students hear about impaired driving ahead of long weekend
Students at Notre Dame High School were reminded Thursday about the perils of driving impaired ahead of the long weekend and grad season.
Poor weather rained out a mock collision that was to take place outside, but MADD, Red Deer RCMP, Emergency Services, as well as Victim Services hosted an assembly inside instead.
Marilyn Rinas, President of the Red Deer and District chapter of Mothers Against Drunk Driving, said the more events that can be held like this one, the more kids will get the message.
