40 Avenue & 47 Street intersection closed Monday, Tuesday

RED DEER- The intersection at 40 Avenue and 47 Street will be closed Monday and Tuesday while a catch basin and connecting pipes are replaced.

The 40 Avenue and 47 Street intersection will close at 7:30 a.m. on Monday and is expected to reopen Tuesday afternoon.

Traffic will be briefly detoured to 39 Avenue via 46 Street, returning to 40 Avenue at Ross (50) Street.

Drivers are reminded to slow down when driving in construction zones and obey all signs, and pedestrians are reminded to cross only at designated crosswalks.
